At Global Minds Montessori we combine the best of today’s current teaching modalities to best serve our children. We are a Montessori that integrates STEAM based lessons and activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) within its curriculum to better support the whole child.

As the world is ever changing, so is the need to modify and adapt our teaching approach to ensure our children are keeping up with what is relevant in the world.  We do not believe any one approach can completely and adequately serve the needs of the child, who has unbounded curiosity, the need for more diverse experiences, is an innovative learner, and has infinite potential.  At Global Minds we combine the Montessori teaching philosophy with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math).  When we combine more than one pedagogy, we create more chances for the child’s talents to come to light.

Global Minds is a Montessori based school that integrates STEAM philosophy and teaching within its curriculum.

Our program has a capacity for 20 students with a 1 (teacher) to 10 (students) ratio.  In preschool, over 50% of students remain for the full-day program. All kindergarten students stay for the full day in preparation for first grade. For those preschool students who remain full-day, the three-year-old students nap, the four-year-olds have an enrichment class, and the kindergarten students are kept separately to have extended periods of study in preparation for their entry into elementary the following year.

Our curriculum also includes music, yoga and mindfulness practices such as meditation.  We also will be adding Spanish instruction to our program this year.
